Ms Gordon in an effort to
promote harmonious labor relations at Patton State Hospital, I have
concerns and issues that require discussion.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY -
HPO's Vs CO's (Inside/Outside) security Perimeter. Definitive lines
of responsibility must be recorded---MOU.

PIE ISSUES (Scheduling / Hiring practices) - double
shifts

MEDICAL GUARDING (Overtime / Costs / BCP) --
Governor's Budget

REPLACEMENT OF VEHICLES (Mileage Limitations - DOM)
-- Some vehicles are showing their age and have high repair costs we
need compliance and change. While emphasizing the adequacy of the
department to ensure our safety, I would like to add and replace two
(2) vehicles to improve the safety and reliability of our fleet here
at Patton.

FACILITY UPGRADES (Observation Posts) letter sent to
Patton Hospital Director and Patton CDC Management Staff requesting
for repair and replacement.
I know we continue to struggle with budget issues, it's a fact
of life for us right now, but CDC / CRC / DMH must put together an
improvement plan that apply to CDC Staff assigned to Patton. We must
have a commitment.
